During the summer of this year, London Drone works concluded a two-year project documenting the complete demolition of a row of dated terraced houses and the construction of a new five-story apartment building in London. Initially hired in 2021 to capture the intricate demolition process, the project evolved to encompass the unique development of the property.
In collaboration with our demolition and construction partners, we made over 30 visits to the busy North London site. Our drones navigated both internal and external routes, meticulously recording details at each stage of the dynamic process.
Given the challenging location and evolving site conditions, we conducted specific risk assessments and obtained permissions for every visit, ensuring compliance with CAA regulations and maintaining safety protocols.
Utilising the 4K & 5.1K footage, we crafted a storyboard illustrating the various stages of development for investment presentations and generated marketing content for website and social media platforms.
This innovative new-build property surpasses traditional construction methods, prioritizing energy efficiency and sustainability to meet the rigorous Passivhaus standard, shaping homes for a greener future.
