Despite ongoing regulatory adjustments, London Drone Works has secured its third 'Operational Authorisation' from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). This approval comes after the CAA reviewed and approved its latest UAS Operations Manual (OM), UAV Maintenance, and Flight Logs. Additionally, the company has amassed 300 incident free hours of operational UAS flight time.
Previously known as a ‘Permission for Commercial Operations’ which it was also a holder of in the past, the ‘Operational Authorisation’ permits London Drone Works to commercially and legally operate UAVs in both Open and Specific Categories, continuing to deliver its specialist UAV-related imaging services with various platforms up to January 2025
